It continues to amaze me what we can grow in the desert

We have a 700 square foot organic garden to supply salads, vegetables, and flowers for our family, neighbors and local restraunts. Living off the grid we get our water transported by trucks and stored in cisterns, we are constantly challenged with methods of water conservation.  Which helps lead to the goal of teaching ourselves, our children and our community a means to sustainable living.

"One thing a family and a garden have in common is they are both something that you can nurture, and it nurutres you right back."

If you are interested in our garden goods please feel free to contact Terri at REDNECKPRINCESS2@HOTMAIL.COM.  When in season our specialty is baby mixed greens with or without edible flowers.  When the season is upon us you can find us at the Saturday ORGANIC MARKET in San Jose del Cabo where we will be selling anything from our garden benches, cedar mulch, bird houses to fish emulsion.

THE MARKET BEGINS 7 NOVEMBER 2010.  see    www.sanjomo.com ...
looking forward to seeing you there.....

The secret to our successful garden...is a lot of work

We utilize the fish emulsion my husband brewed from the game fish we catch off punta gorda.  We compost all of our organic waste, not only does less waste go to the landfill, but it creates a rich soil which is a godsend living in the desert. In addition, the munchkins and I go to a ranch up the coast several times in the heat of the summer and shovel a truck full of goat manure to replinish our garden soil for the upcoming season.

We can help you build up your desert soil for your landscaping and or garden.  If you are interested please contact us for further information
